Team & Roles

RankerBase lets you invite team members and control what each person can do using roles.


Role hierarchy

Each role includes all permissions of the roles below it.

Role What they can do
Admin Full access — manage users, sites, billing, and all content operations
Editor Review and approve content, manage the backlog, publish, and manage site settings
Writer Create and edit content, generate drafts, and view opportunities
Viewer Read-only access to all content and dashboards

Managing your team

Admins can manage team members from the Team page:

  • Add a user — set a username, password, and role
  • Change a role — promote or adjust a team member's access level
  • Reset a password — help a team member who's locked out
  • Remove a user — revoke access for someone who's left the team

The number of team members you can have depends on your plan:
