Your first content workflow¶
Once your site is set up, here's how to create your first piece of content:
1. Discover keywords¶
Go to the Opportunities page. You can:
- Pull from Google Search Console — surfaces keyword gaps, declining positions, and untapped opportunities from your real search data.
- AI suggestions — let RankerBase suggest keywords based on your site's niche.
- Add manually — enter keywords you already have in mind.
2. Promote to backlog¶
Select one or more promising keywords and click Promote to Backlog. This moves them into your content pipeline.
3. Generate content¶
Open a backlog item and click Generate. RankerBase will:
- Build a SERP-informed content brief
- Generate a structured outline
- Write a full draft with headings, FAQ section, and meta description
- Run a fact-check on key claims
4. Review and approve¶
Read through the generated draft. You can:
- Edit the content directly
- Approve it for publishing
- Reject it with comments for regeneration
5. Publish¶
Click Publish to push the approved content to your CMS. WordPress posts are always created as drafts — nothing goes live without your final review in WordPress.
