Internal Linking

The Internal Linking Engine suggests relevant internal links for your drafts based on your published content.

How it works

  1. Site reindex — Your published content is periodically indexed so RankerBase knows what pages you have
  2. Similarity matching — Draft sections are compared against your indexed pages to find relevant connections
  3. Link suggestions — The engine suggests anchor text and insertion points for relevant internal links
  4. Apply links — Click Apply Best Links to insert the suggested links into your draft, creating a new revision

Your site is reindexed automatically on a weekly schedule, or you can trigger a reindex manually from the site settings page.

Supported formats

Internal linking works with both Markdown and HTML drafts. Links are inserted in the appropriate format based on your content type.
