Fact Verification

RankerBase includes automated fact verification that cross-references claims in your generated content with web search results.

How it works

  1. Claim extraction — Factual claims are pulled from the generated fact-check checklist
  2. Web search — Each claim is searched across the web
  3. AI verification — Search results are cross-referenced with AI to assign a verdict
  4. Results — Each claim receives a verdict, confidence score, explanation, and source URL

You'll see real-time progress while claims are being verified.

Verdicts

Verdict Meaning
Verified Claim confirmed by multiple reliable sources
Likely true Strong evidence supporting the claim
Uncertain Mixed or insufficient evidence
Likely false Evidence contradicts the claim
False Claim clearly contradicted by sources
Unverified No relevant sources found

Auto-verify

Turn on auto-verify to automatically trigger fact verification after a draft is generated. This saves you a manual step in the workflow.

Manual overrides

The fact-check checklist includes checkboxes you can toggle manually. Your manual overrides are always preserved — automated verification never overwrites your judgments.

Tip

Use manual overrides when you have first-hand knowledge that a claim is correct, even if the automated check returns "uncertain."

Plan restrictions

Fact Verification is available on Growth and Agency plans.
